Your information

Privacy Policy

StaxSix is developed by Vibe Media. This policy explains how information is handled by the StaxSix iPhone app and this website.

Last updated: November 6, 2026

Information stored on your iPhone

StaxSix stores your chosen player name, sound preference and completed-game statistics on your iPhone. Statistics include game results, scores, opponent or mode, bonus totals and completion information.

Saved Move History records player and opponent names, words formed, total move points, Pass entries, turn order, game and action identifiers, and game-start information. Solo and AI entries also record move times; multiplayer entries currently do not. Swaps are not listed. Some older records may be partial or contain only a summary.

These records can persist after you leave a match or restart the app. Move History is a record, not a saved game that can be resumed. Local backups and checksums help protect records; they do not encrypt them. StaxSix has no account sign-in or app-operated cloud-save service.

Local Wi-Fi multiplayer

The two phones exchange player names, local connection information, temporary session identifiers, moves and synchronized game state directly over the local network. Local Network permission enables discovery and connection. No external game server or internet connection is required for the local match.

Each phone can retain a history containing both players’ names and moves. Use a nickname if you do not want to share your real name. We cannot remotely delete a record saved on the other player’s phone. Session integrity checks are not a promise of encrypted network traffic.

Your controls, reset and deletion

You can change your name and sound preference in Settings. A name change applies to future games; the current match and saved history retain their recorded names.

Reset Statistics clears active completed-game statistics and legacy statistics after confirmation. It does not clear Move History, your name, sound preferences or completion identifiers used to prevent duplicate records. It normally updates the statistics backup, but damaged-file copies or a backup that could not be updated may remain. Reset Statistics is not a secure erase of all app records.

The app currently has no separate Move History deletion control or automatic expiry for saved history. Deleting the app normally removes its local container; offloading preserves app data. Apple device backups and later restores may retain or reintroduce records under your backup settings. These backups are separate from an app-operated cloud service.

Analytics and local diagnostics

The inspected release configuration disables Unity analytics, advertising, cloud crash reporting and engine diagnostics. No app-operated analytics or advertising service is enabled in that configuration. This does not mean Apple or a hosting provider never processes technical information.

Detailed Multiplayer development logging is excluded from the non-Development release. Earlier development installations may leave local diagnostic files containing connection details, identifiers and game information. No automatic upload of those local files is implemented in the inspected app source. Ordinary operating-system or engine diagnostic output may still exist.

Apple and TestFlight

If you use the TestFlight beta, Apple separately processes beta usage, crash and feedback information and may share information with the developer. Feedback can contain comments, screenshots, device details and identifying information. Apple’s policies and your participation settings govern those services.

We use beta feedback to investigate problems and improve StaxSix. See Apple’s TestFlight privacy information.

Support communications

When you email support@vibemedia.co, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send, such as issue descriptions, screenshots, device details or diagnostic reports. We use it to respond and investigate issues. Please do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.

David Weeks is the only person at Vibe Media who accesses StaxSix support emails and beta feedback. We use this information to respond to support requests, investigate problems and improve StaxSix. We do not use it for marketing or share it with other people. Service providers, including email hosting and Apple/TestFlight, process information as part of providing their services.

Support emails may be kept in a support folder. We have not established a fixed retention period or a routine deletion schedule. Emails are not automatically deleted when an issue is resolved. You may contact us to ask about access to or deletion of correspondence held by us. Provider-managed records and backups are subject to their own practices.

We do not use additional analytics outside the inspected app. The separate technical processing by Apple/TestFlight, email hosting and Cloudflare hosting is described in this policy.

This website and Cloudflare

This website uses Cloudflare Pages hosting. Its pages contain no advertising pixels, analytics scripts, embedded videos, web forms, external font requests or application cookies. No GoDaddy tracking scripts have been carried over.

When served through Cloudflare, technical request information, including IP addresses, requested URLs and browser or device information, may be processed to deliver and protect the website. This is separate from StaxSix game records. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. We do not promise that hosting produces no logs or impose an unverified deletion period on provider records.

Email links open your chosen email application. External websites have their own privacy practices. We do not enable optional website analytics or tracking.
